Thank you to all for the kind thoughts and comments.
I have shivered all of 2008. I could not feel warm knowing that my brother and baby niece were gone. Somehow, wool in my lap is a tremendous comfort.

It's amazing how much knitting helps during a crisis. I had kind of a tough time personally in 07, and knitting really saved my sanity, I tell ya. I certainly hope that it gives you as much comfort as it has given me.

This is so sad to read, I feel for you. Knitting has saved my sanity and helped restore my psyche so many times in my life...do knit on, and a grandmotherly virtual hug to you (I hope you don't mind)
